Article marketing is an important part of a successful online business. Articles can be used to drive traffic, create backlinks, and can be turned into videos or podcasts and act as a landing page for pay per click advertising. That’s why putting some thought into what goes into the article is important.
Using this article as an example the first thing I’ll do is go to the Google Adword Keyword Tool. If you have a gmail account you can sign in with that or go through the process of creating an account. Once inside I typed in the phrase “article marketing” in the search box and was supplied with a long list of other keyword phrases that were relevant to “article marketing”. Examples would be writing articles, what is article marketing, and how to write an article. All these keywords get a very decent amount of global and local searches on a monthly basis.
Using that infomation I came up with the title “Article Marketing – How To Write An Article”. Moving forward I use a very basic outline to proceed. That outline is to start with an intro, add good content, and close with a call to action or a simple quick review of the content given. For some, article writing comes easy, for me not so much. But with the use of the keyword tool and my basic outline the job becomes much easier.
